BIOGRAPHY

Dominik Meier is a PhD candidate at the Landeskriminalamt NRW. His research interest lays at the intersection of AI and law enforcement, specifically NLP, its responsible use, the future risk landscape and possible mitigations.

He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Science from the RWTH Aachen University. Before his current PhD studies, he worked on formal methods for program verification and was a consultant in the financial sector, mainly advising on market risk and big data.
