Industry Partnerships
Our group collaborates with industry partners on various research projects. The cooperation between academia and industry accelerates the integration of innovation into hands-on products and services and demonstrates the direct benefits of our research.
For this reason, we offer industry internships and theses (B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D.) together with industry partners. Our current research partners are:
- Eschbach: The company develops software for interactive management, transparent communication and business intelligence.
- Daimler Data Lab: The Data Lab is part of the Daimler AG and cooperates with our group on blockchain-related research projects.
- Wikipedia: Several of our students completed internships at the Wikipedia headquarter in San Francisco.
- DFKI: We collaborate with the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence in Berlin.
- FIZ Karlsruhe – Leibniz-Institut für Informationsinfrastruktur GmbH: We collaborate with the Mathematics Departments at FIZ on mathematical information retrieval and decentralized open science.
