The Human Bios International AG is announcing a research cooperation with our group to explore the use of blockchain technology for security applications. In the scope of the cooperation, Human Bios is providing research stipends for up to four PhD positions within our group. The launch of the cooperation is being celebrated with a meet-and-greet event at the headquarters of Human Bios Intl. AG in Kreuzlingen, Switzerland on Thursday, March 9, 2017 beginning at 16:00.
Human Bios is a Swiss company specializing in technologies that prevent tampering with physical objects. Specifically, the company has developed the concept of dynamic security, which makes use of time-dependent, unpredictable changes of physical security elements, such as specialized coatings, to develop authentication and authorization concepts. In the future, Human Bios seeks to leverage the potential of the blockchain to develop novel security concepts. Given the expertise of our group in the research area of blockchain applications, the company chose us as a partner to further advance their research efforts.
